DIESEL SHEDS

              WCR homes total 376 diesel locos in two diesel loco sheds, one at New Katni (NKJ) and other at Itarsi (ET). Both the sheds have acquired ISO 9001 certification. 

NKJ DIESEL SHED:           

 This shed was established in 1962 and first ALCO loco was commissioned here. Initially it was set up for a holding of 100 locos and subsequently in 1982 it was extended for total holding of 150 locos. It provides outage for NCR, NWR, NR, CR, NER, ECR and NFR.
